The purpose of this EIB is to provide a brief update regarding contract negotiations between the Company and the United Steelworker’s Local 13-243.
Yesterday (Friday, Feb. 12), the Union issued a counter proposal to the Company’s January 31 last, best, and final offer. The Company has reviewed the Union’s counter and found that it did not meet the Company’s bargaining objectives. The Company subsequently rejected the Union’s counter.
The Company’s January 31 offer remains valid through February 15 at 8:00 PM.
