On December 29, 2021, the NLRB impounded your ballots as a result of the union’s legal charges. Since that time, more than 60 days have passed, and the NLRB has not yet issued a final determination on any of the union’s charges.

As such, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the Company made a motion to have the ballots promptly opened and counted, consistent with the NLRB’s rules and regulations.

The NLRB has responded to the Company’s motion by communicating that impounded ballots will be opened and counted. A meeting to count the ballots is scheduled for Monday of next week. We look forward to the opportunity to hear your voice on this issue.

Please note, while ballots will be counted now, the NLRB will not certify the results of the election until they have issued a final determination on the union’s outstanding unfair labor practice charges that served as the basis for impounding the ballots.

Any questions related to the employee led decertification effort can be submitted to Beaumont Area HR Department at Beaumont.Area.HR@exxonmobil.com.
